OVERVIEW:
The 2022 Water & Health Conference will be held at The Friday Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, from October 24-28. While we are moving back to an in-person event, we will also offer a live virtual component. Stay tuned for more details on how we will engage virtual participants.

FEES AND PAYMENT:

If you are paying with a credit card, you can pay when you register. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
You must register first and pay later for all other payment types (wire transfers, cash, or check). After you register, a staff member will manually approve the registration. It could take up to 1 business day to receive your confirmation email.

TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS AND VISA APPLICATION LETTERS:
If you need a visa letter or would like to apply for a travel scholarship, please note that you must first register for the conference. Be prepared to upload a copy of your passport bio-page (the page with your photo and personal information) and a copy of your registration confirmation. Look for this confirmation message in your email inbox after registering.
After you register and have these documents ready, you can fill out the following forms. Please allow up to three business days for a response.
*As a reminder, independent consultants, unsponsored practitioners, or students from LMICs will be considered for travel scholarships. Please note that we are unable to cover anyone's full travel costs, but can help with conference registration, airfare, and/or accommodations.
Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended duration of stay in the US.

As of 5 p.m., July 30, 2021, there are no restrictions or measures imposed by executive order for the general public; however, visitors should use their best judgment when traveling and adhere to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services' recommendations. CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you find that you cannot attend the conference, you must cancel no later than October 10, 2022, at 5:00 pm (GMT-4). You can cancel your registration by logging into your account through the registration site. Any cancellation received after the cancellation deadline will be charged the full registration fee.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTES:
- We are using a new registration system for this year’s conference. You will be asked to create a profile. Please only create one profile, using one email address. Once your profile is complete, you will receive an email containing a link to set your account password subject line "North Carolina Institute for Public Health New Account." Note: The link is only active for 30 minutes (if this window passes, you can email us at waterinstitute@unc.edu so that we can send you a new link. (This system is not tied to any past/current UNC student or conference login information).
