Most banks and credit card companies use the additional 4 digits assigned by the post office to zip codes. 99% of credit card payment failures are due to a zip code mismatch.
Most of the time the company may have those digits tied to your address in their billing system but it doesn’t show up on the statement that way. We STRONGY suggest that you call your credit card company to see how they have your address in their system before trying to process your credit card payment.
If your company uses those 4 digits and you are not putting them into your zip code on the payment screen your payment will be rejected. If you have verified the billing address with your credit card company and your card is still being rejected, please reach out to nciph_events@unc.edu.
