We invite you to join us for this 38th annual event, which will include plenary sessions, breakout workshops and a keynote address. The 2023 North Carolina School Nurse Conference is a wonderful professional development opportunity for nurses to explore new ideas, share lessons learned and network with others from across the state!
Every year, new and returning school nurses attend the conference to participate in innovative sessions and networking opportunities. The theme for this year's conference is “Growing Our Foundational Roots and Reaching for the Sky.”
This is the largest conference targeted to school nurses in North Carolina with total anticipated attendance of more than 600 participants.
About the Conference Providers
This conference is jointly provided by the Whole Child Health Section of the North Carolina Division of Child and Family Well-Being and the North Carolina Institute for Public Health at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
This year’s conference is supported through a contract to the N.C. Institute for Public Health from the NC Department of Public Instruction and NC Division of Child and Family Well-Being as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) investment in North Carolina’s public health workforce funding to the NC Division of Public Health.
The Public Health Nursing Institute for Continuing Excellence is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Exhibitor Priority:
Exhibitor space is limited, and priority will be assigned if capacity is reached. Exhibitors providing educational and informational displays and products will be prioritized over exhibitors who are selling commercial products

The exhibitor space will be in the Pre-function Area on the third floor of Koury Convention Center. This space is conveniently located between participant breakout sessions for increased visibility and networking.

Electricity on both days (for an additional cost)
**Additional exhibitor breakfast, lunch, and break service available for $100 per person per day.
**During registration you will be given the option to add additional tables, however, you will be charged per table, i.e., two for- profit tables will be $1,500. **
Payment Deadline
The exhibit fee must be received no later than November 17, 2023, at 5:00 pm, or your registration will be cancelled. You can pay by credit card via our online registration system. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Please make all checks payable to UNC Chapel Hill and mail them to NCIPH, ATTN: Registrar, Campus Box 8165, Chapel Hill NC 27599. Please include your name, the name of the program and the confirmation number you received from our online system with your check.
Cancellation
If you find that you cannot attend, you must cancel no later than November 17, 2023 at 5:00 pm. Any cancellation received after the deadline will be charged the full registration fee. You may cancel by logging back into your registration or by emailing cwwhitfi@email.unc.edu.
Accommodations
The block of rooms reserved at the reduced rate is full. The hotel is not able to offer anymore rooms at the reduced rate. You can book directly on their website at the regular hotel rate.
